This past Sunday morning, at church, I had a vision of a courtroom in heaven. There was a judge's stand with the judge wearing long dark robes, looking down and saying, “FORGIVE”. At the time of the vision, we were worshiping God, calling out for more of Him.
I heard the Lord say, "You want more of me and yet you cannot love or forgive those around you". I could feel husbands and wives at odds with each other; children and parents offended with each other; friends offended with each other; even pastors held in contempt because of a slight offense.
I heard again the word “FORGIVE”. Then God said," If you cannot love those whom you can see, how can you love God whom you can't see.
The spirit of offense is trying to trap you, and with it, bitterness goes hand-in-hand. Disillusionment comes. Your illusions of what should have been done for you have trapped you. Your expectations in people, instead of God are not being met.
You can't afford the offense; it cost too much. It will destroy you, like poison. Let it go! Forgive! In loving those that are hard to love we become more like Christ. In forgiving those who are hard to forgive, we become more like Him. Jesus knew all men and loved all men. Jesus even loved His Judas.
No matter if it's hard, still forgive. There is release in forgiveness; there is healing in forgiveness; even for your physical body. Christ accepted you, except one another also.
That you may with one accord glorify the living Lord.
Love, Jeanne
