We need to be constantly reminded that God is a God of love. God is love and the one who lives in love, lives in God and God lives in him.
We cannot hate when we are in God because He is love. Even the most difficult person is still God’s child and we need to see them from God’s eyes. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. He loved the world. The good, the bad, the ugly, the drug addict, the prostitute, the thief and the murderer. Jesus even loved Judas, the betrayer. Now that’s hard, to love a betrayer.
One way to love a betrayer is to forgive them. To forgive is divine. Press into God, to such an extent that His love overwhelms you, so that you can forgive the ones that hurt you. Jesus took our place on the cross, and died , so that we can be forgiven of our sin. We all owe Him our lives. Can we give Him our pain and rejection and accept His love. A new move of God is coming across this land. An explosion of evangelism is about to hit. The lost are going to come to Him. The good, the bad, the ugly, the drug addict, the prostitute, the thief, the murderer, and the betrayer. We will need such a large heart for these people. A heart we can only get from Him.
Lord fill us up with your love. More of you, less of us. Let us be like you to those who don’t yet know love.
